Thank you for all your emails enquiring about the where abouts of this months update! What can I say, It's been a busy month.

This month brings the launch of our new customer portal service which we have been working hard to get in place for you. We have also completed the changes to the support contracts which I reported earlier this year and think you will find the new structure very rewarding. I also bring you news of a new technology we have been implementing across many of our larger sites which allows us to provide faster internet connections for your remote workers without the high costs of a leased line.

Changes to our contracted support solutions now in place

As of the 1st Aug 2009 we have made some important changes to our support contracts to better meet the needs of our customers. Historically our entry level BusinessCare package has always included 36 hours of support but from now this will be lowered 15 hours with the other options being 36, 72 and a custom package. All levels will now include as standard our Procare software on all servers and workstations allowing for 24/7 365 day monitoring of your systems and unlimited remote and helpdesk support as standard plus many other benefits that our ProCare software brings. Custom packages can also be supplied to include complete management of your IT systems along with regular scheduled on-site presence from 1/2 day per week to 5 days a week.

The new contracts will come into effect at your next renewal date and will allow us to be much more proactive with regards to supporting you and your business and minimizing your required support through the use of automated scripts for commonly reported problems and scheduled tasks for out of hours support. Your purchased support hours will be allocated to On-site support only as your remote and helpdesk support will be unlimited so your support requirements for the year will be less reducing the cost of ownership of your IT to your business.

Customer Portal Now online

We are pleased to announce that our new customer portal is now live and will allow all contract customers to log on and view the details and progress of all currently open calls as well as view details of their contract usage for the year to date. Each site administrator will shortly receive an email from me with their unique username and password which will allow them to log onto the portal.

Please take a moment to log on and provide me with your feedback on this new service.

Changes to support requests sent to Helpdesk@atbltd.co.uk

As from this week we have made a change to how we deal with support requests sent to Helpdesk@atbltd.co.uk. If your email requires a call to be opened you will automatically receive an email informing you of this and detailing your unique call reference number. You will then receive further emails as your call is assigned to an engineer and when comments and updates are added. You will be able to track the progress of the call using the customer portal described in the previous article.

If your request doesn't require a call to be opened because it doesn't require an engineers time then you will receive a reply email from us with the answer to your question.
